Description: Point guard Jordan Crawford was dealt to Golden State Wednesday as part of a three-team deal. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports
Insight: The Warriors gave up Toney Douglas as part of the trade. Crawford will be joined in Golden State by Marshon Brooks, who has already been dealt three times in his short career. The Warriors already have two pretty good guards in Steph Curry and Klay Thompson so it's tough to envision Crawford's fantasy value improving as a result of this trade.

Description: With Rajon Rondo slated to return on Friday, the Celtics may be gearing up to trade Jordan Crawford.
Insight: According to journalist Peter Vecsey, the Clippers, Nets, Rockets, Suns and Warriors would all be interested in acquiring Crawford, who has averaged 13.7 ppg and 5.7 apg this season. Crawford might still average double-digit points with Rondo in the lineup but fantasy owners probably won't be able to rely on him for assists anymore.

Description: Boston guard Jordan Crawford had 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting, eight assists, four rebounds and two threes in 34 minutes Friday against the Nuggets.
Insight: We saw flashes of a player who could contribute in multiple categories when Crawford played the point briefly for the Wizards last season, and he has excelled in an extended run as Boston's starting point guard this year. He's averaging 16.3 points, 7.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.9 threes over his last seven contests.

Description: Boston guard Jordan Crawford generated his third-career triple-double Friday in a blowout win over Cleveland.
Insight: Crawford (11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) is getting extended minutes at point guard for the first time in his career and he seems to be loving every second of it. Of course, that will only last until Rajon Rondo is back on the court. Luckily for Crawford, Rondo (ACL) is still a couple weeks away from returning.

Description: Celtics guard Jordan Crawford had a season-high 24 points Friday against the Pacers.
Insight: In 10 games as a starter, Crawford has averaged 13 points, 5.1 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Grab him if you're thin at either guard spot.

Description: Celtics guard Jordan Crawford had 16 points, 10 assists and five rebounds in 33 minutes Monday against Orlando. All are season highs for the 25-year-old.
Insight: Crawford moved into the starting lineup at point guard four games ago, pushing Avery Bradley to two-guard. The shift has worked out well for both players and the Celtics, who have won four straight after starting out 0-4.
11/6/2013 6:02:00 PM
Description: Jordan Crawford will move into the Celtics' starting lineup Wednesday against the Jazz. Boston will shift Gerald Green to small forward and Gerald Wallace to the bench.
Insight: Crawford came off the bench in each of the first four games and averaged just 19 minutes per contest, compared to a team-high 35 minutes per game for Wallace. Crawford is still averaging 9.8 ppg despite the limited playing time.
Cold5/2/2013 9:38:00 AM
Description: Celtics coach Doc Rivers shortened his rotation to just seven players Wednesday night in Game 5.
Insight: After averaging 16.3 minutes per game in Games 1-3, Crawford has played a combined seven minutes over Boston's last two games. Terrence Williams and Jason Terry were the only bench players to see any action in Game 5. Crawford's unnecessary post-game altercation with Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton on Wednesday probably didn't help his case for getting more playing time.

Description: Boston coach Doc Rivers said that Jordan Crawford has moved ahead of Courtney Lee in the rotation. SOURCE: Gary Dzen,
Insight: Crawford played 25 minutes and scored 10 points on 11 field-goal attempts in Game 2 against the Knicks, and Lee logged just four minutes. "I'm not playing him right now," coach Doc Rivers said of Lee. "Jordan has moved ahead of him on the depth chart."
4/12/2013 10:25:00 PM
Description: With Paul Pierce out, Jordan Crawford drew the start for the Celtics Friday against the Heat and scored 20 points with four rebounds, two steals and two triples in 36 minutes.
Insight: Crawford is only averaging 8.6 ppg since joining the Celtics, but he could be useful if Boston holds out Pierce in any of the remaining three games.
3/26/2013 10:34:00 PM
Description: Celtics guard Jordan Crawford drew the start Tuesday with Courtney Lee out with an ankle injury and scored 14 points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal, two threes and six turnovers against the Knicks.
Insight: Crawford had 21 points off the bench Saturday with Lee on the sidelines. However, Lee could get back in the lineup as early as Wednesday, so don't rush to pick up Crawford.
3/26/2013 6:36:00 PM
Description: Jordan Crawford will start at shooting guard for the Celtics on Tuesday.
Insight: Crawford saw increased playing time Saturday with Courtney Lee (ankle) out of action and had 21 points in 27 minutes. Lee will miss Tuesday's game and is doubtful for Wednesday.
2/22/2013 5:35:00 PM
Description: Jordan Crawford is set to make his Celtics debut Friday night versus the Suns.
Insight: Boston now has five shooting guards on its roster (Avery Bradley, Crawford, Courtney Lee, Jason Terry and Terrence Williams) and no point guards. We'll see if that strategy pays off later tonight when the C's take the court against Phoenix.
2/21/2013 2:42:00 PM
Description: The Wizards have traded shooting guard Jordan Crawford to Boston in exchange for injured point guard Leandro Barbosa.
Insight: The Celtics have been looking for backcourt help ever since Rajon Rondo went down with a torn ACL and Crawford should be able to step in and contribute right away. With Bradley Beal (13.5 ppg) finally asserting himself as the Wizards' top shooting guard, Crawford (13.2 ppg) had no place in Washington anymore.
1/26/2013 10:12:00 PM
Description: Wizards guard Jordan Crawford hasn't played more than 22:45 in any of his first six games since returning from an ankle injury.
Insight: Just as we expected, Crawford has had his role reduced with John Wall and A.J. Price returning from extended absences and Bradley Beal finally playing well.
1/18/2013 7:56:00 PM
Description: Wizards guard Jordan Crawford (ankle) is active Friday and will play off the bench.
Insight: Crawford has missed the last four games at the worst possible time. The guard, who is leading the Wizards in points and assists, has watched John Wall and A.J. Price return to action and Bradley Beal break out in his absence.
1/17/2013 11:24:00 AM
Description: Washington guard Jordan Crawford actually injured his ankle for the first time back in early November against the Celtics but played through the pain for 25 games. The pain in his ankle never went away so he has taken an extended break this month. The guard has joined the team on its five-game West Coast road trip and plans to return before it ends. SOURCE: Washington Post
Insight: Crawford has missed four games in a row at the worst possible time. The guard, who is leading the Wizards in points and assists, has watched John Wall and A.J. Price return to action and Bradley Beal break out in his absence.
1/16/2013 10:02:00 PM
Description: Washington guard Jordan Crawford will miss Wednesday's game in Sacramento because of an ankle injury.
Insight: Crawford has now missed four games in a row. Bradley Beal has taken advantage of the extra minutes, producing 18.3 ppg over his last three contests.
1/16/2013 11:24:00 AM
Description: Wizards PG/SG Jordan Crawford is questionable for Wednesday's game against Sacramento due to a sore left ankle. He hasn't played since Jan 6.
Insight: With John Wall back and rookie Bradley Beal starting to play well, Crawford could lose significant fantasy value when he returns.
1/14/2013 6:32:00 PM
Description: Wizards guard Jordan Crawford (sprained ankle) has been ruled out Monday.
Insight: Crawford 's injury has come at the worst time for his fantasy value -- just as John Wall has returned from season-long absence. Crawford is leading Washington in points and assists this season but Wall will take over both of those categories once he sheds his minutes limit.
