T-Wolves' Budinger injures knee, needs surgery
Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Timberwolves forward Chase Budinger tore the lateral meniscus in his left knee in Saturday's loss at Chicago and will have surgery later this week, the team announced Sunday.
A return date will be determined after the procedure.
Budinger is averaging 11.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in six games this season, his first with Minnesota.
