Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Pistons will sign Ukrainian center Vyacheslav Kravtsov when the moratorium ends on July 11.

"We are engaged in negotiations with Vyacheslav Kravtsov and will enter into a player contract when the moratorium period ends," Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars said in a statement.

The 7-foot Kravtsov is 24 years old and has been part of the Ukrainian national team since 2006.
