The Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the 19th race on the 2013 Nationwide Series schedule.

This will be the second time NASCAR's second-tier series runs at IMS. Prior to last year's inaugural Indiana 250, the series competed at nearby Lucas Oil Raceway (formerly known as Indianapolis Raceway Park and O'Reilly Raceway Park) from 1982-2011.

Brad Keselowski won the first Nationwide race at IMS one year ago. Keselowski benefited from Elliott Sadler's penalty for jumping a late-race restart. Sadler passed him for the lead during a restart with 18 laps remaining, but NASCAR officials determined he jumped the restart and black-flagged him.

Keselowski crossed the finish line 3.3 seconds ahead of Penske Racing teammate and former Indianapolis 500 winner Sam Hornish Jr. It was the first time team owner Roger Penske won a stock car race at Indianapolis. Sadler ended up finishing 15th. Keselowski is not entered in Saturday's event.

The next race is the Aug. 3 U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway. Sadler is the defending race winner.
