Insight: He strained a hip muscle on April 3. Jones was the favorite to win Chicago's closer job but manager Robin Ventura went with Matt Lindstrom and Jones then allowed four runs without getting an out in middle relief. His ERA and WHIP will remain infinite until he returns from the DL.
