Description: Orioles manager Buck Showalter said he expects pitching prospect Dylan Bundy (elbow) to be limited to 75 pitches per outing all season.
Insight: That doesn't rule out Bundy from pitching with the Orioles this season, but it caps his short-term upside. In four rehab starts so far, Bundy has posted a 1.83 ERA and a 25/5 K/BB in 19 2/3 innings.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy (elbow) will throw one inning in an extended spring training game next week, according to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun.
Insight: It will be the first time Bundy faces hitters from outside of the Baltimore organization since his Tommy John surgery. Bundy is making progress and could join the O's rotation around the All-Star break. Prior to the injury, Bundy was considered one of the top pitching prospects in baseball.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy (elbow) threw a 35-pitch bullpen session Monday, according to Brittany Ghiroli of mlb.com.
Insight: Prior to Bundy's Tommy John surgery last June, he was considered one of the top prospects in all of baseball. If he avoids complications he could be ready to join the Orioles after the All-Star break.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery Thursday, according to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun.
Insight: Bundy has been dealing with elbow issues since April and rest did not help him. The talented 20-year-old will be sidelined until mid-2014.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy (elbow) had a follow-up exam with Dr. James Andrews and will be allowed to start throwing on June 10, according to Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com.
Insight: Bundy probably won't be of much value for the 2013 season, but he still has a huge upside in dynasty leagues.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy (elbow) will have a follow-up exam with Dr. James Andrews on June 3, according to Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun.
Insight: Bundy, who has been bothered by forearm and elbow stiffness since spring training, had a platelet-rich plasma injection four weeks ago and is in the midst of a six-week rest period. The target date for Bundy to resume throwing is June 10.

Insight: Bundy, who has been bothered by forearm and elbow stiffness since spring training, met with Dr. James Andrews on Monday. If he makes it to the big leagues this season, it won't be until after the All-Star break.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy will have his sore elbow and forearm examined by Dr. James Andrews after he "didn't feel right" throwing off flat ground Monday. SOURCE: Brittany Ghiroli
Insight: Bundy has been bothered by forearm and elbow stiffness since spring training. Even if he doesn't have a serious elbow problem, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that we will see him in the big leagues in 2013.

Description: Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy is "pain-free" and on a strengthening program, according to Steve Melewski of MASNsports.com.
Insight: Bundy was placed on the minor league disabled list with right forearm stiffness last week, but the move was largely precautionary. He didn't have any structural damage in his right arm.

3/16/2013 7:00:00 PM
Description: Orioles righthander Dylan Bundy will open the season at Double-A Bowie.
Insight: Bundy made it all the way to the majors at the end of last year and was dominating in the Grapefruit League before his demotion (1-1, 1.13 ERA in four appearances). The 20-year-old shouldn't be in Double-A long and it wouldn't surprise us to see him in the O's starting rotation at some point in 2013.

9/19/2012 10:58:00 AM
Description: Orioles top pitching prospect Dylan Bundy has been called up from Double-A Bowie.
Insight: The plan was for Bundy (9-3, 2.08 ERA, 119 Ks in 103 2/3 IP ) to pitch in the fall instructional league, but the plan has obviously changed. He'll likely pitch out of the bullpen and not have much fantasy value the rest of this season. For keeper leagues, however, here is a chance to claim a talented young pitcher.

8/30/2012 9:52:00 AM
Description: Orioles prospect Dylan Bundy won't be called up to the majors when rosters expand on September 1st.
Insight: The plan is for Bundy (9-3, 2.08 ERA in 23 minor league starts in 2012) to play in Baltimore's fall instructional league when Double-A Bowie's season comes to a close. It looks like the 19-year-old is on pace to make his major league debut sometime in 2013.

8/25/2012 7:11:00 PM
Description: A report from MASN's Roch Kubatko suggests top pitching prospect Dylan Bundy could be promoted to the major leagues when Baltimore expands its roster at the start of September.
Insight: Bundy, who was promoted to Double-A earlier in the month, is 8-3 with a 2.01 ERA in 22 minor league starts in 2012. He likely wouldn't hold much fantasy appeal at first but Bundy could be worth holding onto in keeper leagues.

8/9/2012 9:59:00 AM
Description: The Baltimore Orioles will promote top pitching prospect Dylan Bundy to Double-A Bowie Thursday, MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports.
Insight: Bundy, the No. 4 overall pick in last year's draft, went 6-3 with a 2.98 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 54 1/3 innings at Class A Advanced Frederick after not allowing an earned run and holding opponents to just five hits in 30 innings at Low A. The Orioles promoted top position prospect Manny Machado from Double-A to the big leagues Thursday and Bundy could follow if the team is still in the playoff race come September.

5/24/2012 6:15:00 PM
Description: The Baltimore Orioles have promoted pitching prospect Dylan Bundy to Class A Advanced Frederick.
Insight: Bundy, the No. 4 overall pick in last year's draft, didn't allow a run on five hits in 30 innings at Class A Delmarva. Armed with 100 mph heat and nasty off-speed stuff, Bundy struck out 40 batters while walking just two. The Orioles want to limit him to around 125-130 innings this season, but this is someone we may see in the major leagues as early as next season if he continues to breeze through minor league hitters like he did at his first pro stop.

4/18/2012 1:51:00 PM
Description: It appears that Baltimore's first round selection in the 2011 draft (No. 4 overall), Dylan Bundy, is a name for fantasy owners to remember for future use. The 19-year-old is currently playing for the Class A Delmarva Shorebirds.
Insight: Bundy has thrown nine innings this season in three starts without yielding a hit. He's struck out 15 of the 28 men he's faced, while walking one. The pitching-starved Orioles will be hard-pressed to keep him from quickly moving up the minor league ladder.
