The former Chicago Cubs outfielder (for one plate appearance at least) has agreed to a one-day contract with the Miami Marlins. | Insight: The 31-year-old Greenberg last appeared in the majors in 2005 when he was hit by a pitch on the first and only pitch of his big league career. He'll suit up for the Marlins on October 2nd when they take on the Mets at Marlins Park. Of course, Greenberg has no fantasy value but it's still a fairly remarkable story. | | |
