Insight: He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk through six innings of work, but St. Louis fell 2-0. Lynn did record nine strikeouts. The Cardinals mustered together just three hits, including only one extra-base knock, so Lynn was really the only relevant fantasy performer for the team on Wednesday afternoon.

Insight: Lynn should be fine in a couple days, will throw a bullpen session of Friday and should be ready for Opening Day. Lynn has produced 15 or more wins in three consecutive seasons with an ERA under 4.00 and close to a strikeout per inning so don't overlook him at the back end of your rotation.

Insight: Lynn had another solid season in the Cardinals rotation, going 15-10 with a career-best 2.74 ERA. He struck out 181 batters in 203 2/3 IP. He's a viable back end of the fantasy rotation guy.

Insight: He lasted only 3 1/3 innings on June 1, allowing seven runs (four earned), on eight hits and four walks, while striking out two. Lynn will need to pitch much better if St. Louis wants a chance at evening up the NLCS.

Insight: The Dodgers scored two runs in the third but were unable to add to it with a man in scoring position with less than two outs in the fifth and sixth innings. Lynn finished with six innings, allowed two runs on seven hits, struck out eight and walked two. The series is tied, 1-1, going to St. Louis for Game 3.
