Insight: Lilly looked sharp in his first outing April 24th against the Mets (5 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 7 K's) before struggling Monday versus the Rockies (3 IP, 8 H, 5 R). He hasn't been a reliable fantasy option since 2011 (3.97 ERA in 33 starts).

4/17/2013 7:24:00 PM
Description: After initially refusing to continue his rehab assignment, Dodgers lefty Ted Lilly (shoulder) made a start Tuesday and could rejoin the rotation following a calf injury to Chris Capuano.
Insight: Dodgers manager Don Mattingly passed over Lilly in favor of Capuano when looking for a fill-in for Zack Greinke (collarbone). The team doesn't think Lilly is ready to go, and that opinion was validated Tuesday when he allowed seven hits and three earned runs in a rehab start at High-A. Fantasy owners shouldn't rush to the free agent wire.

Meanwhile, Chris Capuano has been pitching out of the bullpen and isn't stretched out to start at this time. Lilly is 12-11 with a 4.15 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in his career at Dodger Stadium, and the Padres aren't exactly a fearsome lineup, so Lilly should be in line for a solid outing on Saturday.
