David Frost dominated the TPC Twin Cities last year en route to winning the 3M Championship by seven strokes. Frost trailed by one after the first round and was tied for the lead after 36 holes. But in Sunday`s final round, he blew away the field, firing an 11-under 61 to cruise to a seven-stroke win. Along the way, he set or tied a trio of records. Frost`s total of 191 set the tournament`s scoring record and matched the lowest score in Champions Tour history. His total of 25-under also matched mark for the lowest score in relation to par. The South African`s win snapped a dominant stretch of golf by Bernhard Langer. The German entered this event last year as the defending champion. Langer was coming off back-to-back wins at the Senior British and U.S. Senior Open Championships, but managed just a 71 in the final round to share 25th place. Golf Channel will have coverage of all three rounds. After a week off, the Champions Tour will head to Maryland for the fifth and final major of the season, the Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, which will be played two months earlier than last year. Mark O`Meara was a playoff winner over Michael Allen in 2010.
