Home cookin': Hampton to host seven in 2011 Hampton, VA (Sports Network) - Hampton will kick off its 2011 football schedule by hosting Alabama A&M on Sept. 3 in the first of seven home games. In addition to the season-opening game, the Pirates will host Princeton on Oct. 8 in non-conference action. They also will play five Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponents at home: Florida A&M (Sept. 10); North Carolina Central on Homecoming (Oct. 22); Howard (Nov. 5); Delaware State (Nov. 12); and Morgan State (Nov. 19). The Pirates' road schedule includes the annual Battle of the Bay against Norfolk State on Oct. 15.
