Holy Cross coach Gilmore gets contract extension
Worcester, MA (Sports Network) - Holy Cross football coach Tom Gilmore has agreed to a three-year contract extension that will keep him with the Patriot League program through the 2015 season.
In seven seasons, Gilmore has a 45-33 record, including 25-16 in conference games, and has twice been named the Patriot League Coach of the Year. In 2009, Holy Cross went 9-3, won the Patriot League title and advanced to the NCAA playoffs.
"I am very excited about the progress we have made in returning Holy Cross to the top of the Patriot League," Gilmore said. "But there is always more work to be done. I am very appreciative of the commitment and support that Holy Cross has shown me, and I look forward to many more successful seasons of Crusader football."
