Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Steven Threet passed for 300 yards and three touchdowns, as the Arizona State Sun Devils blanked the Washington State Cougars, 42-0, in a Pac-10 tussle.
Threet, who suffered a concussion just last game, completed an efficient 26- of-32 pass attempts for ASU (4-4, 2-3 Pac-10). T.J. Simpson had five catches for 90 yards, while Jamal Miles posted four receptions for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
Jeff Tuel threw for 200 yards, but with a pair of interceptions for WSU (1-8, 0-6), which dropped its 15th straight Pac-10 game.
The Sun Devils opened the scoring with a seven-yard touchdown run from Cameron Marshall midway through the first quarter. A few minutes later, Miles grabbed a mine-yard touchdown pass from Threet.
ASU added to its lead early in the second quarter behind a three-yard touchdown run from Deantre Lewis.
With just 11 seconds left before the half, Miles pulled in an 18-yard touchdown strike from Threet.
Just over a minute into the third quarter, Marshall toted seven yards to the end zone.
The last score of the game came 11 seconds into the final quarter, as Kyle Middlebrooks ran 10 yards to paydirt.
The Sun Devils dialed up 493 yards of total offense, while the Cougars managed just 264 yards.
