NCAA Game Summary - U-C-L-A at Washington

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Chris Polk rushed for 138 yards on 26 carries and scored a touchdown as the Washington Huskies downed the UCLA Bruins, 24-7, in a Pac-10 game at Husky Stadium.

Jesse Callier rushed for 107 yards on 10 carries for the Huskies (4-6, 3-4 Pac-10), who kept their bowl hopes alive with the win.

Jake Locker was just 10-of-21 through the air for Washington for just 68 yards.

Jonathan Franklin rushed for 53 yards on 21 carries for UCLA (4-6, 2-5), and Franklin scored the Bruins' only touchdown. Three UCLA quarterbacks (Richard Brehaut, Clayton Tunney and Darius Bell) were just 6-of-25 combined for only 55 yards with three interceptions. All three Washington touchdowns were set up by interceptions.

The Bruins opened the scoring when Franklin dashed 31 yards for the game's first touchdown with 5:20 left in the opening quarter.

The Huskies tied the game when Locker scored on a three-yard run with 5:57 left in the first half.

Washington took the lead for good on Erik Folk's 27-yard field goal with 11:06 left in the third quarter, the first three of 17 straight points.

Darius Bell extended the Huskies' lead to 17-7 by intercepting Bell's pass and taking it 28 yards to the end zone with 6:22 left in the game.

Polk added an insurance touchdown on a two-yard run with 4:24 left.

Washington ran for 253 rushing yards, a season high. UCLA, which still has bowl aspirations as well, managed just 163 yards of total offense
