NCAA Game Summary - Oklahoma State at Oklahoma

(Saturday, November 28th)

Final Score: Oklahoma 27, (11) Oklahoma State 0

Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Ryan Broyles totaled over 300 all-purpose yards and returned a punt for a touchdown, as Oklahoma smothered 11th-ranked Oklahoma State, 27-0.

Broyles finished with 209 yards on punt returns, caught nine passes for 103 yards and had four yards on two carries.

Landry Jones completed 20-of-37 passes for 224 yards for the Sooners (7-5, 5-3 Big 12), who won two of their last three games to end a disappointing regular season. DeMarco Murray had 72 yards and two scores on 13 carries in the win.

"This win was big for us," Jones said. "Finishing the year like that, finishing it off for the seniors; it was just a big win for us to go out there and play the way that we played."

Back under center after missing one game with a shoulder injury, Zac Robinson struggled for the Cowboys (9-3, 6-2), throwing for just 44 yards and one interception on 9-of-21 attempts.

"Obviously, it was a very, very tough day for us offensively," said Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. "I want to give Oklahoma credit for its scheme on defense. They have guys that have the ability to make plays and put pressure on the quarterback."

After missing a 35-yard field goal late in the first quarter, Oklahoma's Patrick O'Hara converted a 24-yard try less than two minutes into the second stanza to opening the scoring.

The Sooners led 10-0 following their next drive. Facing a 3rd-and-5, Jones found Broyles for a 47-yard gain to the OSU 13 and Murray took it the rest of the way on the ground with 10:20 remaining.

O'Hara kicked a 19-yarder to cap Oklahoma's first drive of the third quarter and Murray's 12-yard touchdown run following a Robinson interception made it 20-0 with 3:38 to play in the third.

An 87-yard punt return by Broyles accounted for all the scoring in the fourth quarter.
