(Saturday, November 28th) Final Score: Texas Tech 20, Baylor 13 Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - Taylor Potts completed 31-of-49 pass attempts for 268 yards and two scores to lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders to a 20-13 win over the Baylor Bears in a Big 12 Conference clash at Cowboys Stadium. Lyle Leong led the Red Raiders' (7-4, 4-3 Big 12) receiving corps, making six catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Baylor (4-7, 1-6) was paced by Blake Szymanski who completed 22-of-35 pass attempts for 234 yards, while carrying the ball 15 times for 34 yards and a touchdown. Baylor scored the only points of the first quarter when Dary Stone drilled a 25-yard field goal, to give his team a 3-0 lead. The Bears extended their lead to 10-0 early in the second quarter when Szymanski barreled his way in from one-yard out for the score. TTU made it a 10-3 game in the closing seconds of the first half when Matt Williams nailed an 18-yard field goal. Baylor opened the second half with a 40-yard field goal by Stone, giving the Bears a 13-3 lead. The Red Raiders responded on their next possession when Potts hooked up with Leong for a six-yard touchdown pass to make it a 13-10 contest. TTU took the lead minutes later when Potts and Leong hooked up again, this time from 12 yards out to give the Red Raiders a 17-13 lead. Tech put the game away midway through the final quarter when Williams converted a 43-yard field goal to secure the seven-point victory.
