NCAA Game Summary - Baylor at Texas A&M

College Station, TX (Sports Network) - Jerrod Johnson threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, as the Texas A&M Aggies rolled over the Baylor Bears, 38-3, in Big 12 play at Kyle Field.

Johnson hit on 19-of-25 pass attempts for 153 yards for the Aggies (6-5, 3-4 Big 12) and added 83 rushing yards on 16 carries. Christine Michael led the ground attack with 116 yards and two touchdowns, and Cyrus Gray also cracked the century mark, rushing for 107 yards in the win. Texas A&M snapped a two- game slide with the win and in the process became bowl-eligible.

The Bears (4-7. 1-6) struggled today, committing three turnovers and managing just 297 total yards of offense. Nick Florence connected on 21-of-31 throws for 177 yards, but he was guilty of two interceptions.

Kenny Brown grabbed a two-yard touchdown pass from Johnson just under four minutes into the game to give the Aggies a quick lead.

Baylor would respond with its lone points, a 31-yard field goal by Dary Stone.

Late in the first quarter, Texas A&M added to its lead courtesy of a one-yard touchdown surge by Johnson.

The Aggies score the lone points of the second quarter, as Michael ripped off a 97-yard touchdown run early in the period. The freshman's run marked the longest play from scrimmage in school history.

Randy Bullock kicked a field goal early in the third quarter for the Aggies and they carried the 24-3 lead to the final frame.

Michael put the game away for good early in the fourth quarter with a two-yard touchdown run.

Johnson threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Tannehill later in the period and the Aggies coasted to the 38-3 win.

Texas A&M had its way on the ground, rushing for 375 yards behind a 7.2 yard per carry average.
