A one-yard touchdown run by Tolzien early in the second stanza extended Wisconsin's lead to 21-0.

The Warriors finally got on the scoreboard midway through the second stanza when Scott Enos connected on a 45-yard field goal.

Wisconsin continued to pour it on however, as Clay found the end zone for a second time, as he scored on a three-yard run in the final seconds of the first half. However, the extra point was missed, leaving Wisconsin with a 27-3 lead at the break.

The only points in the third quarter were produced by Clay, who scored on a 15-yard scamper, pushing Wisconsin's lead to 34-3.

Philip Welch added a 33-yard field goal for the Badgers midway through the fourth quarter.

Moniz completed a two-yard scoring strike to Jovonte Taylor late in the final quarter, but it was far too late for Hawaii to make a legitimate comeback.
