Boise, ID (Sports Network) - Four different players threw touchdown passes as ninth-ranked Boise State dominated Utah State, 49-14, at Bronco Stadium.
Kellen Moore went 27-for-36 with 362 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, while Tanyon Bissell, Vinny Perretta and Mike Coughlin each threw for a score for the Broncos (9-0, 5-0 WAC), who have won their past three games by a combined score of 131-30. Perretta also caught a touchdown pass, while Jeremy Childs and Austin Pettis each caught two scoring passes.
"We kind of just go with the flow, take what the defense is giving you," said Moore. "Their front, I think, was pretty good. They played a pretty good game. But we've got skill guys that I just have to give them the ball and let them play."
Boise State is the nation's winningest team since 2006 with 32 victories and has reeled off 48 straight home wins. Also, the team has defeated 37 consecutive WAC opponents on its own field.
Sean Setzer went 19-for-33 with 226 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, and Doug Barbour and Robert Turbin each had a receiving touchdown for the Aggies (2-8, 2-4), who have dropped five of their last six games.
"We had way too many penalties and way too many turnovers," said Utah State coach Brent Guy. "We put ourselves in a hole way too much. You can't do those things against these guys."
The Broncos scored on the first possession of the game as Moore found Pettis in the end zone from seven yards out for a 7-0 lead a bit over three minutes in.
Early in the second quarter, Boise State made it a 14-0 game as Ryan Winterswyk sacked Diondre Borel, causing a fumble that Ellis Powers scooped up and took in the end zone from four yards out.
Ian Johnson's one-yard touchdown run capped a six-play, 48-yard drive that gave the Broncos a 21-0 lead with 8:39 left in the second.
On a trick play, Bissell and Childs hooked up on a 57-yard touchdown pass to make it a 28-0 game with 5:28 left in the second.
Utah State, though, got on the board with just 35 seconds left in the first half on a 51-yard touchdown strike from Setzer to Barbour to make it a 28-7 contest heading into the locker room.
The Aggies made it a 14-point game on their first touch of the second half, as Setzer and Turbin hooked up on a 29-yard score.
Boise State, though, answered later in the frame on another trick play, as Perretta and Childs got together on a 17-yard touchdown strike for a 35-14 lead with 3:18 left.
With just 15 seconds left in the third, Boise State made it a 42-14 game as Moore found Perretta on a 38-yard scoring play.
The Broncos continued to pour it on in the fourth as Coughlin and Pettis combined for a five-yard score and a 49-14 advantage with nine minutes to play.
Childs finished the game with seven catches for 135 yards...Boise State finished the game with 563 yards, including 458 through the air...The Broncos lead the series with the Aggies, 11-4...Utah State turned the ball over six times in the game: three fumbles and three interceptions.
