Pullman, WA (Sports Network) - Nico Grasu's 37-yard field goal in double overtime lifted the Washington State Cougars to a 16-13 win over the Washington Huskies in a Pac-10 bout at Martin Stadium.

Kevin Lopina completed 17-of-29 passes for 167 yards and an interception for Washington State (2-10, 1-8 Pac-10).

Willie Griffin paced Washington (0-11, 0-8) with 112 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries.

After a scoreless first quarter, Willie Griffin got the Huskies on the board first with a three-yard touchdown run at the 12:17 mark of the second quarter.

Ryan Perkins kicked a 35-yard field goal with 5:07 remaining in the half to push the Huskies' lead to 10-0.

Logwone Mitz broke free for a 57-yard touchdown run for Washington State with 2:56 remaining in the third quarter.

With time winding down in regulation, Washington State's offense put together a seven-play, 69-yard drive in 56 seconds, resulting in Grasu's 28-yard field goal as time expired.

The teams traded field goals in the first overtime, but Perkins missed a 37- yarder on Washington's second overtime possession.
