Troy, AL (Sports Network) - Corey Robinson threw for 396 yards and three touchdowns to lead Troy to a 34-7 win over FAU in Sun Belt action at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Eric Thomas caught six passes for 128 yards for Troy (3-7,2-4 Sun Belt), and Corey Johnson added five catches for 98 yards.
Alfred Morris rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries for FAU (0-10, 0-7). Graham Wilbert added 157 yards and one interception on 16-of-29 passing for the Owls.
After a scoreless first quarter, Troy exploded for 17 unanswered points in the second quarter. Michael Taylor hit a 27-yard field goal two minutes into the frame, and Robinson threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Khary Franklin to make it 10-0 with 3:39 remaining.
Robinson struck again just over a minute later, hitting Eric Thomas on a 57- yard scoring strike to extend the Trojans' lead.
Morris got FAU on the board with 35 seconds remaining before halftime, running in a 10-yard score to cap an eight-play, 72-yard drive.
Troy put the game away with 17 more unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Shawn Southward rushed for a two-yard touchdown run on the first play of the frame, and Robinson found Thomas again on the Trojan's next possession, this time on a 25-yard score to make it 31-7.
Taylor added a 35-yard field goal with 2:07 remaining to cap the scoring.
Troy outgained FAU in total yardage, 437-291.
