Spokane, WA (Sports Network) - Robert Sacre and Elias Harris each had double- doubles for Gonzaga who took down San Diego, 77-60, in a West Coast Conference clash from McCarthey Athletic Center.
Sacre had 18 points and 11 rebounds while Harris scored 15 points and collected 13 boards for Gonzaga (16-3, 6-1 WCC). Sam Dower had 15 off the bench and Gary Bell chipped in 11 for the Bulldogs who have won three straight and 11 of 12.
Darian Norris scored 20 points off the bench for San Diego (7-12, 3-4). Dennis Kramer added in 14 and Johnny Dee netted 10 points for the Toreros who have lost three of their last four.
The first half was tight with Gonzaga holding the edge going into the break at 32-28. Both teams shot below 40.0 percent with the Bulldogs netting 38.7 percent of its shots and San Diego just slightly worse at 36.7 percent.
Gonzaga opened the second half on a 13-2 run and shot 63.0 percent from the floor in the second half to seal the victory. San Diego shot 48.4 percent from the floor in the final period.
Gonzaga out rebounded San Diego 38-26 and also outscored the Toreros 15-3 from the free throw line.
