NCAA Game Summary - New Mexico State at San Jose State (Thursday, February 14) Final Score: New Mexico State 67, San Jose State 57 San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - Paced by 15 points from Daniel Mullings, the New Mexico State Aggies claimed their 12th straight win with a 67-57 decision over the San Jose State Spartans in a Western Athletic Conference showdown at The Event Center. Renaldo Dixon tallied a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for NMSU (18-8, 12-2 WAC), Bandja Sy recorded 13 points and nine boards, and Sim Bhullar scored 10 points and blocked four shots. For SJSU (9-15, 3-10), Xavier Jones scored a game-high 17 points, while Chris Cunningham chipped in 11 points. The Spartans, who shot just 36.4 percent from the field, have lost nine in a row. NMSU trailed by one with less than five minutes to play in the first half, but it closed the frame out on a 14-0 run to head into the locker room with a 38-25 advantage. The Aggies led by as many as 24 in the second half. SJSU outscored NMSU 12-0 in the final 2:25 to make the final score respectable, but the Spartans were never really in it after halftime.
