Bolin was 2-of-3 from beyond the arc off the bench in the Huskies' (3-10, 1-0 MAC) victory. Darrell Bowie and Abdel Nader scored 10 points each as Northern Illinois snapped a five-game losing streak. For the RedHawks (5-8, 0-1), Will Felder scored a game-high 15 points and Reggie Johnson recorded 12 points. Allen Roberts chipped in 11 points as Miami-Ohio lost its second straight game. The first half ended with the game tied, 28-28. Northern Illinois made 5- of-7 from long range, while Miami-Ohio shot 11-of-21 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.
