Final Score: Elon 62, Florida Atlantic 59 (OT)

Elon, NC (Sports Network) - Jack Isenbarger scored nine of his 16 points in overtime to lead the Elon Phoenix to a 62-59 win over the Florida Atlantic Owls in a regional final of the EA Sports Maui Invitational at Alumni Gym.

Lucas Troutman finished with 14 points and eight rebounds for Elon (3-1) while Ryley Beaumont chipped in 11 points.

Stefan Moody had a game-high 22 points off the bench for Florida Atlantic (1-3) and was one of three players with a game-high eight rebounds. Greg Gantt also got into double figures with 11 points.

Florida Atlantic shot at a 40.0 percent clip in the first half and held Elon to just a 25.8 percent effort over the first 20 minutes.

The Owls scored only 17 points in the second half allowing Elon to overcome a 13-point deficit to force overtime with a jump shot form Gantt with 1:37 remaining that tied the game at 48-48. With neither team able to score the rest of the way the game went to overtime.

Led by Isenbarger the Phoenix outscored the Owls 14-11 in the extra session.

Elon forced 18 turnovers which it converted into 15 points. Florida Atlantic got just two points on seven Phoenix turnovers.
