Ohio took a 46-35 lead into the intermission after it shot an even 50 percent from the floor and drained 10-of-19 attempts from distance in the opening period. The Bulls shot 42.9 percent from the floor, but managed to make only 1-of-10 from three-point range in the first half.
Buffalo battled back after the break by shooting 45.5 percent from the field while holding the Bobcats to 40.6 percent shooting. The Bobcats saw their lead grow back up to nine points, but Buffalo battled back once again. Jarod Oldham knocked down a jumper for the Bulls with 37 second left in regulation that left Ohio with a 77-74 advantage.
