Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Chip Armelin scored a career-high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds off the bench, as the Minnesota Golden Gophers wrapped up the regular season with an 81-69 win over Nebraska in Big Ten play at Williams Arena.

Rodney Williams added 16 points and eight boards to help the Golden Gophers (18-13, 6-12 Big 10) snap a six-game slide and sweep the season series with Nebraska. Austin Hollins chipped in with 13 points, while Ralph Sampson III and Andre Hollins scored 12 apiece.

Bo Spencer scored all 23 of his points in the second half for the Cornhuskers (12-17, 4-14), who were dealt an eighth loss in their last nine outings. Dylan Talley scored 16 off the bench, and Toney McCray finished with 14 points.

The Cornhuskers shot a healthy 52.2 percent from the floor in the first half, but they allowed Minnesota to bury seven three-pointers in the frame to take a 38-30 halftime lead.

Spencer tried to keep Nebraska in it by knocking down seven threes in 12 attempts during the final 20 minutes. However, the Cornhuskers shot just 31.2 percent from the floor as a team in the second half, compared to a 62-percent effort by the Golden Gophers.

Minnesota displayed solid ball movement, tallying 23 assists on 26 field goals for the game. The Gophers shot 54.2 percent from the floor.
