NCAA Game Summary - Tennessee at L-S-U

Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) - Trae Golden scored nine of his 14 points in the extra period as the Tennessee Volunteers downed the LSU Tigers 74-69 in overtime thriller in Southeastern Conference action at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Jarnell Stokes scored 18 points and Jeronne Maymon also had 14 for Tennessee (17-13, 9-6 SEC) which has won three straight and seven of its last eight.
Justin Hamilton scored 17 points and was a rebound short of a double-double for LSU (17-12, 7-8) which has lost consecutive games after a four game winning streak. The Tigers also got 12 points from Anthony Hickey and 11 from Johnny O'Bryant.
LSU dominated in the first half and led 35-24 at the break by shooting at a solid 52.0 percent clip and holding Tennessee to just 41.7 percent.
The Volunteers erupted after halftime and shot a stellar 66.7 percent from the field to roar back into the game. Tennessee never led in the second half but a Maymon free throw with 2:16 remaining tied the game, 60-60 and with neither team able to score a point in the final two minutes the game went to overtime.
With the game tied 63-63 in overtime, Golden erupted scoring nine of the Volunteer's last 11 points to push them to the win.
