NCAA Game Summary - Elon at Davidson

Davidson, NC (Sports Network) - De'Mon Brooks posted a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Davidson Wildcats upended the Elon Phoenix 66-45 in a Southern Conference tilt at Belk Arena.
Clint Mann finished with 12 points and Jake Cohen added 11 for Davidson (21-7, 15-2 SoCon) which had lost two of three entering play.
Lucas Troutman was the only player in double figures for Elon (13-15, 8-9) with 15 points. The Phoenix has now lost six straight.
Davidson led just 29-25 at the half after both teams struggled in the opening period. The Wildcats were just 12-of-37 from the floor in the first twenty minutes which was just better than the Phoenix which went 11-of-31.
In the second half Davidson separated itself by improving to 41.7 percent from the floor while holding Elon to just six field goals in the second period.
Davidson outrebounded Elon by a 50-35 margin and also forced 15 Phoenix turnovers.
