Brookings, SD (Sports Network) - Nate Wolters posted a game-high 22 points while passing out eight assists, as the South Dakota State Jackrabbits rolled to an 86-65 victory over the Buffalo Bulls as part of the annual BracketBusters event at Frost Arena.
Griffan Callahan added 21 points in the win for SDSU (22-7), which also got 11 points from Tony Fiegen.
Mitchell Watt scored 15 points and collected eight rebounds to lead the way for Buffalo (16-8), while Zach Filzen and Tony Watson chipped in 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The Bulls were limited to a meager 34.6 percent from the field during the opening 20 minutes of play, enabling SDSU to take a commanding 38-26 lead into the break.
The Jackrabbits never looked back, as the squad shot at a blistering 60.9 percent clip during the second frame while knocking down 16-of-21 at the foul line en route to the 21-point triumph.
The Bulls were guilty of a game-high 16 giveaways during the meeting.
