NCAA Game Summary - Memphis at Tulane

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Will Barton scored 20 points, leading five players in double figures, as the Memphis Tigers defeated the Tulane Green Wave, 82-64, in Conference USA play at Fogelman Arena.
Barton, who shot 7-of-12 from the floor, added nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals to his stat line for the Tigers (19-7, 9-2 C-USA) as they won their fourth in a row and the seventh in eight tries. Tarik Black accounted for 18 points, Chris Crawford 13 and six assists, followed by Joe Jackson and Wesley Witherspoon with 10 points apiece.
The Green Wave (15-10, 3-8) was led by Ricky Tarrant with his 20 points, followed by Josh Davis with 19 and nine boards and Jordan Callahan who dropped in 12 points in the team's second straight setback.
Both teams shot the ball well from the floor in the first half, but even with 50.0 percent accuracy the Tigers had to settle for a one-point deficit at the break, 33-32. Tulane connected on 52.0 percent in the opening frame.
In the second half Memphis was unstoppable, converting an incredible 74.1 percent from the field to run away with the 18-point triumph.
In a game that experienced six ties and 12 lead changes, Tulane hurt itself with a staggering 20 turnovers.
