NCAA Game Summary - Nevada at San Jose State

San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - Olek Czyz scored 23 of his career-high 27 points in the second half as the Nevada Wolf Pack held off the San Jose State Spartans 76-70 in Western Athletic Conference action at The Event Center.
Czyz also grabbed 10 rebounds for Nevada (21-4, 10-1 WAC), which has won back- to-back games and 18 of its last 19. Malik Story scored 23 points with six three-pointers and Dario Hunt also tallied a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolf Pack.
For San Jose State (8-17, 1-9), James Kinney scored 26 points, Keith Shamburger netted 17, and Wil Carter chipped in 12. The Spartans have now lost four of their last five.
Nevada took a 35-27 lead into the halftime locker room behind 45.2 percent field goal shooting and went 6-of-12 from three-point range.
San Jose State heated up after the break and brought its deficit to within one on two separate occasions, but Czyz and the Wolf Pack were able to pull away in the final 10 minutes.
Both teams took good care of the basketball, with Nevada turning it over five times and San Jose State coughing it up just four times.
