NCAA Game Summary - Saint Louis at Saint Joseph's

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Cody Ellis scored a game-high 20 points off the bench as the Saint Louis Billikens delivered a 72-60 win over the Saint Joseph's Hawks in Atlantic 10 Conference action at Hagan Arena.
Ellis, who made just 1-of-4 three-pointers in the first half for the Billikens (19-5, 7-3 A-10) came alive in the second half as he nailed all five of his long-distance attempts, the team finishing the night 10-of-20 shooting behind the three-point line as they won their third in a row and the sixth in seven tries.
Also scoring in double figures for Saint Louis were Brian Conklin and Kwamain Mitchell with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
The Hawks (15-10, 5-5) were paced by Langston Galloway who dropped in 15 points, followed by Ronald Roberts who posted 14 points and eight rebounds and Carl Jones with 13 points as the team had a brief two-game win streak snapped. Halil Kanacevic contributed seven points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots, but he also turned the ball over six times.
The Billikens opened the meeting on a 10-0 run, but eventually the Saint Joseph's defense woke up and held the visitors scoreless during one stretch for about five minutes, allowing the hosts to battle back and get to within two points at the break, 29-27.
In the second half Ellis and the perimeter game for the Billikens came alive, connecting on 7-of-10 beyond the arc, en route to the 12-point win.
The Hawks finished the night shooting only 4-of-16 behind the three-point line and turned the ball over 17 times on their own floor.
