Irvine, CA (Sports Network) - Travis Fulton scored 16 points as Pacific toppled UC Irvine 72-64 in a Big West showdown at the Bren Events Center.
Lorenzo McCloud netted 15 and dished out seven assists for Pacific (9-13, 5-5 Big West) which has won four of its last five. Ross Rivera chipped in 14 off the bench.
Michael Wilder led four players in double figures with 12 for UC Irvine (9-14, 5-5) which had a three game winning streak snapped. Adam Folker and Daman Starring each netted 11 and Chris McNealey added 10 for the Anteaters.
Pacific led 36-28 at the break by shooting an even 50.0 percent from the floor including 4-of-10 from beyond the arc. UC Irvine was only able to manage 41.4 percent shooting.
In the second half UC Irvine's offense slumped to just 32.1 percent shooting including just 4-of-20 from three point range and Pacific converted on 45.5 percent of its shot attempts to hold on to the victory.
Despite the loss UC Irvine won on the glass outrebounding Pacific 39-32.
