NCAA Game Summary - Louisiana at Troy

Troy, AL (Sports Network) - Bryant Mbamalu finished with a game-high 27 points as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns defeated the Troy Trojans 83-78 in Sun Belt Conference action at Trojan Arena.
Darshawn McClellan and Josh Brown each scored 12 points for Louisiana (14-11, 8-3 Sun Belt) while Brown added 11 rebounds. Elfrid Payton added 11 points for the Cajuns, who have won four straight.
For Troy (7-15, 2-9), Will Weathers scored 22 points and Justin Wright tallied 21. Emil Jones notched a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Trojans, who are now riding a four-game losing streak.
Louisiana got out to a 30-28 lead after one half. The Cajuns shot 42.9 percent from the floor and Troy faired even worse, making good on 32.3 percent of its shots.
After spending the first eight minutes of the second half exchanging leads, the Cajuns caught fire to lead by as many as 16 points down the stretch. Troy managed to climb back in to make it a three-point game, 77-74, with 1:52 remaining, but that's as close as the Trojans would get.
Though Troy is one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country, they connected on just 4-of-18 from long range on the night while Louisiana made 9- of-22 from beyond the arc.
