NCAA Game Summary - Columbia at Harvard

Cambridge, MA (Sports Network) - Laurent Rivard scored a game-high 20 points as the Harvard Crimson registered a 57-52 win over the Columbia Lions in Ivy League action at Lavietes Pavilion.
Also scoring in double figures for the Crimson (20-2, 6-0 Ivy) were Keith Wright and Brandyn Curry with 15 and 12 points, respectively, as the team won an eighth straight contest and remained perfect in league play.
The Lions (13-9, 2-4) were paced by Brian Barbour who delivered 15 points, but he shot only 4-of-13 from the floor as the team lost for the second time in the last three outings.
Harvard scored the first points of the night and never looked back, even when the meeting got tight in the second half. The Crimson registered a 30-27 advantage at the break thanks to 47.6 percent shooting from the floor and not so much a 7-of-12 showing at the free-throw line.
In the second half Harvard was limited to a total of just six made field goals, but the squad turned it around at the charity stripe (14-of-20) in order to secure the five-point win.
The game was won at the free-throw line where the Lions were outscored by a 21-8 margin.
