Fullerton, CA (Sports Network) - D.J. Seeley finished with 28 points and six steals to lead the Cal State Fullerton Titans to an 83-61 victory over the Cal Poly Mustangs in Big West Conference action at Titan Gym.
Kwame Vaughn contributed 14 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds as the Titans (14-7, 6-3 Big West) won for the fourth time in five games. Omondi Amoke chipped in 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Will Taylor was the only player for Cal Poly (13-10, 4-6) to reach double- figures as he scored 10 points. David Hanson led the team with six rebounds.
CSF took a 43-29 lead into the intermission after it knocked down 6-of-14 from beyond the arc in the opening 20 minutes. The Mustangs shot 54.5 percent from the floor, but attempted nine less shots in the first half.
The Titans continued their stellar play after the break as they shot 65.2 percent from the field and made 4-of-7 from three-point range in the second half to cruise to the 22-point victory.
CSF held a 32-26 advantage in the rebounding battle and outscored the Mustangs 32-28 in the paint.
