Little Rock, AR (Sports Network) - D'Andre Williams scored 15 points as the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans moved into sole possession of the Sun Belt Conference West with a 64-57 win over the Denver Pioneers at Jack Stephens Center.
Ben Dillard added 14 points for UALR (10-13, 7-2 SBC) while Courtney Jackson added 13 points and eight rebounds. The Trojans are winners of two straight and five of seven.
For Denver (16-6, 6-3), Brian Stafford led all scorers with 19 points and Brett Olson tallied 14 points. Chris Udofia added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Pioneers, who have lost two of three.
UALR took a 29-24 lead into the halftime locker room. Neither team shot particularly well in the frame, with the Trojans hitting 42.1 percent of its field goals and Denver making good on 40.9 percent.
While Denver spent most of the second half within 10 points of the lead, the Pioneers failed to tie or take the lead at any point.
