Little Rock, AR (Sports Network) - D'Andre Williams scored 14 points for Arkansas-Little Rock at it cruised past the South Alabama Jaguars, 75-50, in a Sun Belt conference contest at the Jack Stephens Center.
Courtney Jackson had 12 and Will Neighbour chipped in 10 points for Arkansas- Little Rock (9-13, 6-2 Sun Belt) which ended a short two game losing skid.
Augustine Rubit was the only player in double figures for South Alabama (10-9, 2-6) with 22. The Jaguars have now lost three straight.
Neither team shot particularly well from the field in the first half with Arkansas-Little Rock at 40.6 percent and South Alabama at only 36.0 percent. The Trojans held the 35-22 advantage thanks to an 18-6 margin from three point range.
Arkansas-Little Rock heated up in the second stanza knocking down 59.1 percent of its shots from the floor including 4-of-8 from three point range. South Alabama shot better as well, but not well enough hitting on 45.0 percent of its shots as the Trojans cruised to the 25-point victory.
Arkansas-Little Rock forced 18 turnovers while committing only seven itself and outscored South Alabama 22-7 on points off turnovers.
