Monroe, LA (Sports Network) - Courtney Jackson led the way with 20 points as the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans defeated the ULM Warhawks, 72-51, in a Sun Belt Conference tilt at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
For the Trojans (7-11, 4-0 Sun Belt), D'Andre Williams and Chuck Guy each finished with 10 points.
The Warhawks (2-16, 1-4) were led by Steven McClellan with 15 points, while Fred Brown added 11 points and Charles Winborne and C. Bibi Ndongo each chipped in 10 points.
Both teams shot well to open the game. ULM connected on 48.3 percent from the field, including 4-of-9 from three-point range. UALR was even better, hitting 55.2 percent from the floor and on 3-of-6 three-pointers, took a 38-33 advantage into halftime.
The Warhawks struggled with their shooting after the break, making just 24.1 percent of their field goals and only 1-of-8 from three-point range. The Trojans shot 44 percent after intermission, including 3-of-10 three-pointers, on their way to an easy victory that kept them undefeated in conference play.
UALR outscored ULM 12-4 at the free-throw line. The Trojans also forced 15 turnovers, including 10 steals, and converted them into 18 points.
