Phil Taylor finished with a game-high 22 points to lead the way for FIU (1-3), which also got 17 and 10 points from DeJuan Wright and Dominique Ferguson, with the latter responsible for a team-best nine boards. The Panthers converted just 42.9 percent from the field during the opening period of play, helping Oral Roberts to a 34-26 halftime lead. The Golden Eagles then shot at a blistering 61.9 percent pace during the final 20 minutes to capture an eight-point victory.
