NCAA Game Summary - Lehigh at Liberty

Lynchburg, VA (Sports Network) - C.J. McCollum and Jordan Hamilton combined for 55 points, leading the Lehigh Mountain Hawks to a 90-80 win over Liberty in 2K Sports Classic action at the Vines Center.
McCollum was 10-of-16 from the floor and a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line for a game-high 32 points in the win for Lehigh (3-2). Hamilton was 8- of-10 shooting in the game, finishing with 23 points. Gabe Knutson and Mackey McKnight got into the scoring act as well for Lehigh with 10 points apiece.
All five starters finished in double figures for the Flames (2-3), led by John Caleb Sanders' 18 points. David Minaya poured in 16 points, followed by Jesse Sanders, Tavares Speaks and Antwan Burrus with 12, 11 and 10 points, respectively. Sanders and Burrus recorded double-doubles in the loss as Sanders doled out 10 assists and Burrus grabbed 11 rebounds.
Lehigh got off to a fast start and had a 10-point lead less than five minutes into the first half, extending that to 25-7 with just 12 minutes remaining thanks to an 11-0 run. The Mountain Hawks, who shot 48.6 percent from the floor in the first half, took a 43-35 lead into halftime.
The Flames fought back with a 50-percent shooting clip over the final 20 minutes, but Lehigh was able to keep Liberty at arm's length by converting 60.9 percent over the final 20 minutes to earn the 10-point win.
