The Chicago Blackhawks reportedly acquired center Michal Handzus from the San Jose Sharks on Monday.
In exchange for 36-year-old Handzus, the Blackhawks gave San Jose a fourth- round draft pick.
Handzus had a goal and an assist over 28 games with the Sharks this season, his second with the team.
A 14-year veteran, the Slovakia native has totaled 180 goals and 281 assists in 939 games with the Blues, Coyotes, Flyers, Blackhawks, Kings and Sharks.
