The Texas Rangers unveiled some new aesthetic changes for Globe Life Park that will take effect in time for the 2016 season.
The biggest addition will be a gigantic 34-by-94 LED video board that will stand tall above the visitors' bullpen area in center field:
In addition to the new video board, the club announced that it will be swapping out the foul poles it has used since 1972 for new editions...giving fans a special opportunity at the team's upcoming Fan Fest later this month (as shared to Twitter by Jeff Wilson of the Star-Telegram):
Team executive vice president of ballpark entertainment and productions Chuck Morgan spoke of the new ballpark changes with MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan:
The Rangers are coming off a great AL West-winning season in 2015, and they'll do so with some flashy new changes at their home stadium in 2016.
