Stanford is getting some much-needed relief just when it needs it most.
Coach David Shaw said Tuesday that wide receiver Devon Cajuste could practice later this week and play Saturday when the eighth-ranked Cardinal (6-1, 4-1 Pac-12) visit Oregon State (6-1, 4-0). He said an MRI exam on Cajuste's right knee showed no ligament damage.
Cajuste caught seven passes for 109 yards in a 24-10 win over UCLA last Saturday. Stanford's No. 2 receiver left with a right knee injury early in the fourth quarter.
Kicker Jordan Williamson also could return against the Beavers after sitting out against UCLA with a leg injury. Redshirt freshman Conrad Ukropina missed a critical 46-yard field goal in the fourth quarter but connected from 31 yards earlier in his first career attempt.
