The Toronto Maple Leafs and restricted free agent defenseman Cody Franson have finally agreed to a deal.
According to the Toronto Star on Thursday, it's a one-year pact worth $2 million.
Franson, who has missed the entire preseason due to a holdout, totaled four goals and 25 assists in 45 regular-season games during the lockout-shortened 2013 season, adding three goals and six points in a seven-game first-round playoff loss to Boston.
Heading into his fifth NHL campaign, Franson has compiled 23 goals and 100 points over 243 contests with the Predators and Leafs.
