The New York Islanders have agreed to terms with recently acquired forward Cal Clutterbuck on a four-year contract.
According to Newsday, the deal is worth $11 million.
The Islanders got Clutterbuck from the Wild in a draft-day trade that sent Nino Niederreiter to Minnesota.
Clutterbuck has notched 62 goals, 48 assists and 337 penalty minutes over 346 career games for Minnesota.
A former third-round pick by the Wild in 2006, the 25-year-old Clutterbuck had just four goals and six assists in 42 games with Minnesota last season. He set career-high marks in 2010-11 with 19 goals and 15 assists.
