West Ham has confirmed that the club has agreed to a loan deal with Arsenal for striker Marouane Chamakh.
The Morocco international has yet to appear in a Premier League game for the Gunners this season, leading many to believe that a move in January was imminent.
Chamakh joins the Hammers on a six-month loan deal one season after he appeared in 18 games in all competitions for Arsenal, scoring one goal.
The 28-year-old will not be available for West Ham's FA Cup third-round match with Manchester United on Saturday, but could feature the following weekend at Sunderland.
