Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman will miss some time with a right knee injury that he suffered during Tuesday morning's workout.
The 22-year-old Freeman was attempting to pick a low throw out of the dirt when his right knee popped out of place. Freeman limped off the field immediately and was in obvious discomfort.
Freeman is coming off a great rookie year during which he hit .282 with 21 home runs and 76 RBI. He was the National League Rookie of the Year runner-up to teammate Craig Kimbrel.
