Schwerin, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Juergen Braehmer scored a unanimous decision over challenger Roberto Feliciano Bolonti, and retained the WBA light heavyweight crown on Saturday night.
Fighting in front of a hometown crowd, the 35-year-old Braehmer (44-2) triumphed convincingly over Bolonti (35-3) with scores of 118-109, 119-108 and 119-108.
It's his second successful title defense, having taken it with a win over Marcus Oliveira last December 14 and defended it for the first time by defeating Enzo Maccarinelli on April 5.
